Low Testosterone – We can give immediate Testosterone and PSA results within the first 30 minutes of your initial visit! Testosterone is the primary sex hormone and anabolic steroid in males. It plays a key role in promoting increased muscle and bone mass, growth of body hair, and sex drive. Testosterone in both males and females contributes to health and well-being, where it has a significant effect on overall mood, cognition, social and sexual behavior, metabolism and energy, the cardiovascular system, and in the prevention of osteoporosis. The deficiency of testosterone in men becomes drastically more common as they age, and it’s estimated that as many as 40% of older men have low testosterone. Statistics show that in America, men’s average testosterone levels have dropped by 1% yearly since 1980. With low T levels, men can experience a decrease in energy and libido, an increase in body fat, emotional changes, and a decline in overall health. Other factors can contribute to low T such as diabetes or obesity, or medications such as corticosteroids or trauma.

Many clinics generalize their hormone treatment and incorporate a one-size-fits-all approach. They keep increasing testosterone levels because the patient doesn’t “feel good” without considering the holistic picture. We take time to evaluate the full clinical picture! We achieve Level-Up care and provide a step up from Primary Care Physician’s and even many Urologists by evaluating not only the total testosterone, but the calculated free and bioavailable testosterone, the active beneficial part of the hormone levels. Through our constant evaluation of new research and extensive experience, we are effective and detailed when fine-tuning doses, when most do a standard dosing. We draw specialized labs that most providers do not do. We will achieve the best approach in considering your specific needs and scenario. With things to consider such as fertility, libido, age, and personal quality of life goals, we will have varied options in addition to TRT, such as HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) and Clomid.

Already on testosterone?

No worries, let’s draw a lab panel and evaluate a plan that’s right for you!

We offer quite a few patient-friendly administration options:

1. Testosterone cream – self-applied daily with an applicator.

2. Testosterone injections – given weekly in-office or you can self-administer at home.

3. Testosterone pellets – through a very small incision, tiny pellets are implanted in-office with local anesthetic and steri-strips applied; they are slowly absorbed by the body and usually replaced between 4 to 6 months.

4. HCG – a hormone that stimulates the testes and hormone production. It is a good option along with TRT or on it’s own, depending on fertility concerns.

5. Clomid – a daily oral medication that can increase testosterone levels if TRT isn’t a good option for you.
